For the Sixth generation of the Riviera (1979-1985), Buick changed the Drivetrain platform to Front Wheel Drive. Making these Riviera, Buicks first Front Wheel Drive production model. From the factory these Riviera are set up with full independent suspension making you feel as if you are riding on a cloud.
