1963 Corvette Split Window LS3 4L80E SRIII Chassis Award Winning Custom Build

CMC is extremely proud to present this beautifully built 1963 Corvette Restomod. Powered by the legendary LS3 Backed the 4L80E automatic transmission, all managed by a Holley Terminator system. Refinished in the Gorgeous Silver Blue (code 912) that this Corvette Originally wore surrounding a beautiful Black Leather interior. This Corvette retains the beautiful lines and body of the original, while giving you the driving experience and performance of a modern Corvette.

This Corvette started its life at Luby Chevy of Denver, Colorado. About 40 years Prior to the build, the Owner, Doug of Doug Rippie Motorsports, first purchased this corvette. He enjoyed the car in its original form for quite a while before starting the Frame-off Custom Build. His Mastery with late Model GM performance cars was the perfect recipe for a truly one-off Restomod Build.

The Body was removed from the frame and given to Squeeg's Kustom of Chandler, Arizona Where it was completely stripped and perfectly prepped before the original shade of Silver Blue was expertly applied in base-coat, clear coat. All Chrome was triple chrome plated to a concours level of finish and all stainless trim was expertly polished to a beautiful shine. Detroit Speed engineering Headlight motors make sure the headlights work quickly and reliably.

Now with such a beautiful body, It could not be set back down on its original chassis. Thats where SRIII came in and delivered a beautiful brand new tube chassis fitted with C6 Corvette Independent suspension Front and Rear. Keeping the theme of High Performance, This chassis was additionally enhanced with Power Rack and Pinion steering, 4 wheel Power assisted Wilwood Brakes with 2-piece rotors, a 3.55 Ratio 9-inch Currie Rear end with Eaton Detroit TrueTrac Limited Slip Differential, Adjustable Viking Coilovers, and a Stainless Steel Fuel tank. All of this sits on a beautiful set of custom staggered Schotts wheels wearing a set of Diamondback Classic Red line Tires.

Furthermore, This Chassis was fitted with the 6.2L LS3 V8 thats been further enhanced with Wiseco Pistons, Borla Induction ITB Fuel injection, Low Profile GM Performance oil pan, Custom Valve covers made to mimic the originals, a stunning Billet Specialties Polished Front runner system, a Polished Ron Davis Aluminum Radiator. A Holley Terminator ECU was equipped to manage all this performance. ceramic-coated mandrel-bent Heartthrob dual-exhaust system with stainless-steel mufflers makes certain this performance is backed by a beautiful sound. Being sure this Corvette can be enjoyed and driven with ease, a 4L80E automatic transmission was fitted, making this corvette as great to drive as it is to look at!

Since performance is well covered, it's time to move on to the place where the most time will be spent, the interior. From the start, These Corvettes have always had a stunning interior and this one has been further enhanced, keeping the factory theme with a few subtle custom touches. The Luggage compartment has been modified to make room for the additional chassis upgrades. The Factory dash and door panels were refinished, keeping the original looks with exceptional Black Leather. The Original seats were replaced with custom Glide Engineering Seats beautifully finished in the same exceptional black leather as the rest of the interior. Further Enhanced with a Flaming River Tilt Column, Dakota Digital Gauges, Custom Gray square weave carpeting, Vintage Air A/C, a Quartz Clock, and an Antique Automotive Radio with Bluetooth connectivity and Siriusxm. All these come together perfectly, making this interior a stunning and comfortable place to spend time when taking this corvette on a cruise!

After completion this corvette has been awarded with some of the highest honored awards. In 2023, This corvette was showcased at the Pacific Grove Concours auto Rally where it went to achieve the Best of 60 Year anniversary of Corvette MArque Award. More Recently, Carolina Muscle Cars showcased this car at the 2025 Goodguys 10th Anniversary North Carolina Nations where it achieved the high honor of Builders Choice presented by Goolsby Customs. This further Emphasizes the quality and craftsmanship of this custom build.
